Care & Use
Care & Use
Blade Care: Clean and dry the blade after each use. Although the triple-laminated stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, prolonged exposure to moisture should be avoided. Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil when storing for extended periods.
Sharpening: Maintain the original Scandinavian grind using an appropriate sharpening stone. Follow the existing bevel angle for consistent performance.
Handle Care: Wipe the natural wood, antler, and leather handle clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged soaking, excessive heat, and harsh cleaning chemicals.
Sheath Care: Allow the leather sheath to dry naturally if exposed to moisture. Avoid storing a wet knife inside the sheath.
Recommended Use: Ideal for carving, camp chores, and general outdoor cutting tasks. Avoid prying, twisting, or heavy batoning.
