Care & Use
Care & Use
Blade Care: Clean the blade after each use with a soft cloth and mild soap when necessary. Dry thoroughly to prevent corrosion. Apply a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil periodically to help protect the Damascus steel.
Sharpening: Maintain the cutting edge using an appropriate sharpening stone, following the blade’s existing bevel angle. Avoid aggressive abrasives that could damage the Damascus pattern.
Handle Care: Wipe the natural wood handle clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, excessive heat, and harsh cleaning products.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry location. Ensure the blade and sheath are completely dry before putting the knife away. For extended storage, keep the blade lightly oiled and outside the sheath.
Recommended Use: Suitable for hunting, camping, and general outdoor cutting tasks. Avoid prying, twisting, or using the blade as a striking tool.
